Javed acquired his BFA from Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai in 2002 and MFA in 2005 from the same institute. Starting from 2003 he was awarded various scholarships from the Ministry of Tourism & Culture by the Govt. of India, Lalibhai Dharamdas Bhambani and more. He believes art never happens on the surface. It is what we live and experience.

Education & Career

After a luminous academic life, Javed dedicated his time and passion to create his inspiring collection across different mediums. He taught at Rachana Sansad Academy of Fine Arts & Crafts from 2008-2011 and Singapore International School, Mumbai. At present, Javed is working as an Assistant professor at MIT Institute of Design, Lonikalbhor, Pune.
